Our boy hadn’t been himself for two days, and since he rarely gets sick, we knew something was wrong. It was Labor Day, but when I called the hospital to see if they could see him as an emergency, they didn’t hesitate to get us in. We recently moved from Austin to Dripping Springs, and finding a vet we could truly belong to was so important to us. Our boy is extremely fearful, so I gave the staff a quick rundown: no eye contact, no touching at first, and no talking to him. I advocate for my dogs very passionately and they did not have any issues with it. They patiently listened and understood the assignment. They handled him with such gentle care that, even while muzzled, he never fought or became reactive. That alone says so much about Dr. Deka and his staff. Thankfully, nothing major seems to be going on, and we’re waiting on some test results. We are so grateful for the kindness, patience, and care we received. Dr. Deka and her husband were gentle, understanding and amazing. This helicopter mom whose whole life revolves around her dogs is VERY happy to have found our new Vet home. ❤️🐾

Highly recommend Founders Animal Hospital When you see on their website that Dr Deka is available outside of regular business hours for urgent care you can trust it ! Our Aussie lost a meeting with a porcupine and Dr Deka and Mason responded quickly to our call, met us at the clinic late that Friday night to remove quills. Dr Deka is extremely professional, patient with high anxious animals and super kind to very concerned animal owners. We are so thankful to have Founders Animals available to care for our fur babies.
